01 / What the line measures
An endotoxin assay is scoped to one class of contamination in the sample drawn from the batch it names. It returns a result for that sample and records it against the batch identifier. The line answers one question, whether that class of contamination sits above or below the method threshold in the material tested, and it answers no other.
Sterility, bacterial endotoxin and the metals panel are three separate lines with three separate scopes, and none of them stands in for another. An endotoxin figure is not a sterility result, and neither is a statement about metals.
